I just got my VOOM bill for January 2005 and I'm still at $39.90. I had
heard everyone was to pay $50 now. Did they "grandfather" some of us?
Or am I just really lucky?

[VOOM] Re: no price increase for grandfathers?

Well I'm a "grandfather" and haven't seen any increase yet. I've read
most every post about VOOM on this forum and satguys and have never
seen any official statement that VOOM would be increasing the bill as
of the first of 2005. Lots of speculation and even a couple of "the
CSR said that..." but nothing firm. I'm not saying us ole
"grandfathers" won't see a price increase but until then we'll just
keep enjoying HDTV on VOOM!

Still watching HDTV under very windy and cloudy Seattle skies, Gill
