[VOOM] OTA locking problem

I just got VOOM about 2 weeks ago. I had Dish Net before and got 15
OTA digitals. The Voom receiver only gives me 14 and leaves out my
best FOX channel 38 from Greenville TN. This is also one of the
strongest signals reading about 93 on the Voom receiver. The
receiver stops at 38 but never puts it into the meomory of OTA
stations. I called WEMT channel 38 and asked about PSIP and what he
called PIDS and say they are being transmitted along with all DTV
info. He said no other receivers are having this problem that he
knows of. I have 3 receivers all do the same. According to Voom I
should get DT 38 and DT 41 part of super DMA for Knoxville. The
others are pluses from using a better UHF antenna. I also get no
program info an any OTA. Called Voom about this . They said I should
be getting them and to try a soft reboot. Did so and lost all OTA
memoery and had to rescan all back into memory. They said that
shouldn't happen either. Anybody else have problems with a channel
38 not going into OTA memory? Any fix?

[VOOM] Re: OTA locking problem

Hey, "jimc705",

Wilt, VP for engineering, should see this and may be able to provide
you with some help. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

Still enjoying HDTV under mostly cloudy Seattle skies, Gill
