[VOOM] Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

Why does all the posts from this yahoo group have to be posted on
VOOM funded SATELLITEGUYS.US?
Doesn't the term "conflict of interest" come to anybody's mind?

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

Scott and Sean are obviously biased toward VOOM (and with good
reason $$$)
Do you not understand or are you brainwashed beyond hope?

RE: [VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

You're missing the point. It's their Forum. If they want to promote that
slant, what's the point in complaining? I don't particularly care for some
of the selective administrative behavior that goes on over there, but so
what? Not my Forum and I'm not looking to start my own, so live with it and
participate or move on. Simple as that.

You can post to the list via Yahoo and not deal with that stuff if it
bothers you.

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

Not to steal your words, but you're missing the point.
Why does THIS forum have any connection to SATELLITEGUYS.US?
If I wanted to see their highly slanted opinions I'd just go there
instead.
There's no reason for this yahoo forum if they are bedroom buddies.

Obviously Jim does not know how to read, and his missed my rant on VOOM because they added all the discovery channels to the VaVaVOOM package. :)

Yes VOOM is a sponsor, however VOOM does not have ANY say with anything that happens on SatelliteGuys.

Jim are you a Voom customer?

I think Scott is just a smart business man. His site has the only Voom information pipeline and he benefits from the user traffic due to the Voom forum. Im sure that results in some Voom bias at times but you have to understand the game he has to play. We all benefit from the information he gets and his site grows.

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

I didn't really expect you to respond with anything except to tow
the company line.
You admitting bias is like Mark McGwire admitting to using steriods.
It just ain't gonna happen.

"jimdandy987",

I'm getting tired of your rants against satelliteguy.us. They add
nothing to this forum. If you continue in this vein you will be
removed from this forum.

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

What is wrong with asking this simple question?

Why is this Yahoo Group Forum connected To VOOM Supported
SATELLITEGUYS.US?

And why won't anyone give a good (or at least an honest) reason?

If you consider this ranting, that's your choice.

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

Answer the question SATELLITEGUYS.US or VOOM@yahoogroups.com!

Why does all the posts from this yahoo group have to be posted on
VOOM funded SATELLITEGUYS.US?

Thanks!

------------------------

who said it was VOOM funded other than paying for advertising? Seems you got a chip on your shoulder in a big way. also the yahoo forum, which I am also a member is too slow in posting the latest fast breaking news. Me? I am just a plain member of both.

[VOOM] Re: Why The Connection To VOOM Supported SATELLITEGUYS.US

VOOM pays SATGUYs $$$. That's funding in my opinion.

If you don't like my so-called ranting then.

1) put me on your "ignore" list
2) hide my posts at the admin level
3) ban my IP Address

These options probably won't work though.

You need to relax wcbfmb... Everyone knows that Voom is an advertiser on Satellite guys. You can actually see the ads at the top. No big surprise. You just sound like a big fat idiot "ranting" like anyone really cares what you have to say. Get over yourself champ and find something more important to rant about. Nobody cares. Thanks for stopping in.

They're cross-posted because some people (like me) would rather read
via email than a Forum. (personally, I find web forums really tedious
to use). It was discussed on both forums - its in the history if you'd
bother to look it up.

If you think advertising is "funding", you clearly don't have a clue.
That forum is not and does not pretend to be a consumer advocate. Its
no more a conflict of interest than a workworking magazine that runs
ads for tools. Its a forum for information that takes ads - get over it
and get the chip off your shoulder. If you want to post any more of
this dumb stuff, maybe you should be paying for the space. I'm sure not
getting any use out of it.
