Has anyone successfully used the Voom STB via DVI to a non-HDCP compliant display?

Not being an HDCP guru, it's not clear to me if HDCP is only enabled (may be application dependent, right?) if the "broadcast flag" is set, or if the source is 720p/1080i - meaning 480i/480p is always passed. Or alternatively, is it always enabled and therefore a HDCP compliant display must be used? I see most references to the DVI behavior states the display must be HDCP compliant, but was looking to see if anyone has actually experimented and what the results have been.

Has anyone done any investigation on this and can share what they've found?

Thanks,

Doug

HDCP is always enabled. Non-HDCP displays CAN'T work with the VOOM STB DVI output. If your display is non-HDCP, use the component (analog) output.
