Rainbow HD Looks to Asia for Content

Rainbow HD holdings, backers of the VOOM high-def programming business, has partnered with Mega Media and the Media Development Authority of Singapore to create $20 million worth of HD programs during the next three years.
All programming produced through the partnership will air on Rainbow HD's VOOM HD Networks, which consist of a suite of HD channels. EchoStar's DISH Network is carrying the VOOM HD content through the companies' agreement that gave EchoStar DBS spectrum and a satellite once controlled by Rainbow.

Rainbow HD Holdings is a subsidiary of Rainbow Media Holdings, which is controlled by Cablevision.

any chance this means some of new korean pack in HD ???

I could care less unless Dish includes MBC HD(see "Music Camp") or gives me some good Korean concerts broadcast live off the VOOM HD set.
