Occasionally I get wavy lines in my picture. It does not happen all
the time. I believe that it must be some sort of interference, but
I have not been able to pinpoint the source of the lines. Can I buy
a different surge protector strip that will stop this? It really
fools with the picture quality. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like AC line noise or FM interference. Save your money on the surge
surpressor it will not likely solve this problem. Instead make sure that
your wires and cables are routed properly. You should not have any AC power
wires running parallel and close to your signal wires (audio and video).
Run power wires and video wires so they cross instead of running parallel.
Keep them away from each other as much as possible. Also if you are
connecting the VOOM box via coax cable it will be prone to signal
interference. A speaker near the TV can cause this also. Lastly, try
turning on one component at a time and observing the effect and looking for
those wavy lines. It's possible that one of your components is causing the
interference.

It souds like you have used coax cable to connect to your tv , just replace .this is probably store bought cable with no proper sheilding . some times if you are going through a vcr , the vcr will cause this.by- pass it.
