vzw new unlimited jetpack - prepaid

update. finished my first month. ran @ 60mbps all month

streaming seems to work fine, at least for a single source

I would be so screwed with data caps. According to my router we use between 10-70GB a day of data depending on if it’s a week day or a weekend day. We stream everything including our normal TV service.

I’m sure Verizon would cap me big time.

its an unlimited plan, no caps, just deprioritization
and that depends on your tower congestion

Verizon doesn’t have data caps, yet. I’m sure that would come down the pike later. Then again I’m sure my current ISP, Frontier, will do the same.

On a busy tower, my "deprioritized" hotspot speeds do slow down some, but it has never been slow enough to affect streaming or anything else including VOIP calls. Actually, I'm usually not even aware of the slow downs unless I'm logging the speeds at the time.

I’ll definitely look at this once we lose our special pricing with Frontier and need to take a 30 day break to become a “new” customer.

forgot about this thread
still going great

but verizon has now discontinued this plan

I see the same thing on my 6620L with the prepaid unlimited plan and on the overview page of my MyVerizon account. If you go to "Usage Details" in MyVerizon you can see your daily usage, but you'll have to manually add them up to get a monthly total.
