Want to connect 2 shaw direct dishes

I have 2 identical Shaw direct dishes, both with over 80 signal. I would like to connect them together. I tried using a Pansat diseqc switch and all i got was no signal. Can this be done? I am located in south Florida. Thanks

The short answer is no.

Dishes receive signals that are much higher frequencies than OTA and getting them synchronized so that they don't cancel as much or more than they add would be quite a feat.
