watch DVR without sat hookup?

Friend is moving and wants to know if he can watch his recorded programs without dish.. He has a 722.

No... You have to be at least looking at a satellite to get the 722 to work at all....

All he'd have to do is pull the sat in cable off the back and try it.

Pushing the menu button will often get the DVR out of its searching for signal funk.
