We have Xmas music in Flex basic

on 947 & 949. Not exactly Sirius but it's something.
They've done this for years now, for any active subs, regardless of subscription level...so not that surprising Flex subs get it also...
It varies from year to year whether we get the Sirius channels included, or just the Dish CD channels. I notice that the Sirius XM Holly channel is mapped down to a two-digit channel number like the other holiday music channels, but Holly is still listed as red in the All Channels list.

Not sure why Sirius XM Holly is still in red....It is usually free along with a bunch of others each year.

Anyway, if you are Flex and interested in these audio channels, try adding the Dish Latino Bonus Pack for $10/month. I believe it has all the Sirius XM channels along with some of the Dish CD channels, Disney XD, Laff (if that one is not already included), and obviously some Spanish channels. Still have Welcome Pack and will probably be waiting a long time for such an option to ever become available.

Still a little early for the Holiday ( don't want to offend anyone by saying Christmas) music. a local station here in the D starts a day after Halloween.....Just not ready for it yet, at least until after Thanksgiving.

In recent years, the Sirius XM holiday music channels have been free. However, there was a time, back when Dish still provided one (seemingly randomly selected) Sirius XM channel for free year-round as the background music on Dish Earth, when we would not get the free previews of the Sirius XM holiday music channels. I guess it was a trade-off: Dish could offer a few Sirius XM channels for free for a couple of months, or one channel for free year-round, but they couldn't do both. Once Dish Earth disappeared, we started getting the free previews of the Sirius XM holiday music channels again, with the possible exception of this year. Before Dish Earth launched, Dish would occasionally do free previews of at least some of the Sirius XM channels, if not all of them, at other times of the year, also. Those free previews never returned. Now, it is either just the holiday music, or no Sirius XM channels at all. It must be a contractual thing between Dish and Sirius XM.
