I'm trying to add some cities to the Weather Channel app and all it does is show a blank screen where the city choices should be no matter how much of a city name or zip you type in the search box. It's happening on the Hopper or the Joeys, doesn't matter.

Anyone else having this issue?

The same here. The scrolling blue dots appear after I type each letter, but it never finds any results. Zip codes still work for me, although the result seems to be a little slow to load. This is on a Hopper Duo with software version U648. The Application Software version is AN441, and the Config Version for the Weather Channel app (found by pressing the Info button twice in a row while in the app) is 1.4.4, released on 7/20/2020.
