i found the smtp settings but gmail doesnt seem to work witth this, but its probably just me.

Heh, yahoo...I saw the funniest yahoo video on youtube yesterday but it's not appropriate outside the backroom...

okay i tried the above all settings are correct yet everytime all i get is pop3 error
i dont use outlook eudora or anything like that all i use is gmail
so how do i get gmail to reflect in the mail system here?
or is this for outlook eudora and other programs?

Just got a note from the author.
GMail requieres a SSL connection, this is not yet implemented, but I have an idea that hopefully will work....

So he is working on it. :)

Besides Gmail I am happy to say this is working great on all other normal pop services. :)

It will not work with Yahoo unless you pay yahoo for forward rights.
Hmmm, it worked for my Yahoo! e-mail, but probably because I was with SBC (with an SBC domain) before they joined forces with Yahoo!.

I'm kinda curious about the intended audience for this feature. As an IT Infrastructure-type at work, this is the sort of "feature" that we cringe over. We take all these steps to block viruses and worms through the corporate e-maill filters and anti-virus, but then some yahoo (sorry about that ;)) goes and logs into their home e-mail while at work and *bam*, NIMDA is spreading behind the firewalls...

This feature looks like a low-key way to thwart some of the blocking of ISPs and their webmail that we have in place. If they find out, they'll block the SatelliteGuys URL and IP addresses.:(

Nope none, the author is trying to work with the Gmail folks but unfortunately they are not trying to work with him.

I have been using the Webmail feature all wee as I have been in class and it has worked very well for me.
