I found this weird looking dish that says EZ Dish never seen one of these things before whats it used for and can it be used for anything FTA?

how big it is?

As long as its 30" or so (or bigger) it should be able to be used for FTA. You might have to put a different LNB on it depending on what it is

Is it this?
No extra poles or cables are needed to get local TV signals with your satellite dish...all you need is eZ dish.

eZ dish is the only advanced off-air antenna with AFLR (Amplified, Filtered Local Reception) -- designed to be an integral part of any available DBS system. Now you can get local television stations without the added expense of cable bills or the hassles of a conventional antenna.

The eZ dish is omnidirectional, which means it receives signals from all directions at once - no rotors or manual adjustments like old antennas.

The eZ dish also has a built-in, shielded diplexer, which means that there is only one cable coming into your home for your satellite and local reception.

The eZ dish provides superior VHF/UHF Omni-directional reception, advanced signal conditioning, striking picture quality and unmatched convenience. eZ dish is the standard for amplified and filtered local reception antennas designed to fully integrate with any DBS system. (eZ dish can also be used without a DBS system by using an in-line power adapter.)
