44.2 (originally CW, then an Independent station) has been off-air since the end of September. Currently, its only displaying its "WFFF 44.2" logo. Plans are to convert the subchannel to a standard version of Fox44 (44.1).

Cheers, K

wasnt that the CW affiliate before it moved (and therefore screwed up the MeTV affiliate there)?

Also why have a SD counterpart? That is so 2009

@ Iceberg: Good question! Here in Hartford/New Haven, we get WTNH-TV channel 8-3 of New Haven. It's a simulcast of WTNH-TV 8-1 and the picture quality is HORRIBLE!

Here in Minneapolis we have 2 SD counterparts...of the Fox & My affiliates...and it all goes back to the DTV conversion
Local Fox (KMSP9) was on 26 pre-DTV conversion. When it happened they went back to RF9 and lost a bunch of coverage (due to the FCC's f**kup on power outputs) so they threw a SD version on the co-owned My29 station (RF29) and it maps to 9-2. Conversely they put a SD version of My29 on RF9 as 29-2

so its
RF9
9-1 Fox HD
29-2 My SD

RF29
29-1 My HD
9-2 Fox SD
29-3 Bounce
29-4 Movies!

HSN now on Ion affiliates
