Hi,

I am hoping to get some help from TWC viewers in Manhattan, NY. I work for a small, religious TV station (WFME-TV) which is carried by TWC in the NY/NJ area. We've received a complaint that our broadcast is no longer seen on Channel 96 in Manhattan. Apparently, TWC has replaced our broadcast with other programming. If some other viewers in the area can confirm this for us, it would be a big help. The bulk of our programming consists of Bible reading and scenery footage overlayed with music.

Thank you!

Jason

What sort of carriage agreement do you have with TWC?

Which would make dropping them, if they have, dicey.

Must-carry. But must-carry doesn't mean a whole lot to big companies like TWC ... they follow the money, not the FCC. I don't blame 'em. Once the FCC does come after them, they'll claim ignorance, put us back on the air, and walk away with some extra $$ in their pockets. No harm done...

I doubt they would risk a cable franchise in NYC to drop a channel. More likely the channel messed up and missed a must carry filing deadline.
