From www.starkelecronic.com 3017 94" long $48.55. Note that all the stations listed are on UHF, so a 4228 would work, but WCYB is reverting to channel 5 and WJHL will go back to channel 11 on February 17, 2009 so the 3017 works on VHF and UHF.

Because WEMT is in a different direction, you'll need a rotator.

If they revert back to VHF, that wont be good for me.. but i'm in the tri-city market area as well. I'm further north in VA. I have a DB8 with a PA16 pre amp on a rotator and can pick up wcyb, wjhl, and wkpt at 47 miles and WEMT at 67 miles consistently. I can also get WBXX out of knoxville at 115 miles most of the time. This is all over very mountainous terrain. Antennaweb.org says i shouldnt get anything but a PBS, so I am extrememly pleased with the DB8 for now.

Remember guys, Antennaweb is very conservative! Antenna selection is hit or miss in some cases. Save your reciepts! Its basicly a process of elemination in some areas. The info you get from this form will in most cases get you in the right "direction"--Ray
