What are those colored buttons for?

This is a question for everyone whose has a 20.0/21.0 remote. Does anyone know what those four colored buttons located above the DVR button are for? I read the user manual on DISH's website and it said they're shortcut buttons for future use, but can someone here at Satguys give me a better explanation. I know the 32.0 remote has those same buttons and the red one is for "jump" (don't know what that means) but do the 20/21.0 remotes do the same "jump" thing as well? Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I can tell on my 722K the colored buttons are currently useless. Maybe if you program the 20.0/21.0/32.0 remote to control a DVD player that uses the colored buttons they would work on that device. The 32.0 on the 922 uses all 4 colored buttons, depending on which screen you are on. The problem with the 922 is the color button codes that Logitech has/had for the 32.0 didn't/don't work correctly on a 922. I haven't tried my Harmony remote in several months so that may have been corrected.

I use the colored buttons for other devices. For my receiver I them to change inputs. For my projector with distinct on/off keys I use one of them for the off.

I love the colored buttons. I have them programmed to perform tasks on my AV receiver that don't work with the standard code for the receiver.

Well if we ever could use the remote to operate a Bluray player, the buttons would match the colored buttons on my Bluray remote.

I use them all the time. They don't have any function with the satellite receiver, but they work great programmed for other devices. I use them for TV and Bluray menus (left, up, down, right). Very handy to have.

I use mine all the time. Red opens my garage door, blue starts my coffee maker, yellow starts my truck on those cold mornings. Haven't found a use for the green button yet though.

I tried. The 722k has no codes for Bluray players and won't "find" one. I did a chat online and was told by a csr that right now you can't control a bluray with the Dish remote

Just use the code for the same brand DVD player. I bet it will work

Since the 20.0 & 21.0 remotes are learning remotels you can teach it every button you need using your blueray remote it will control your blueray.

I'm not sure on the red & green buttons, but if you are in your guide menu scrolling up and done to see what's on, the yellow and blue buttons are secondary scroll up & down by 5 channels like the 2 round buttons with up and down arrows below aux & dvd. Yellow is up, Blue is down, but only works in the listings guide.
