I know I can change the audio with the DVD players remote, I would like to know if it is possible with the Dish Remote
What are you using for your sound? Your tv's built in speakers or your stereo?
If its your tv then your set if you have the remote programed or your tv.
My guess is that you are using your stereo. In that case yes it can be done on most
but not all stereos.

On your DISH remote you will use VCR or AUX to control your DVD player. Find the code that operates your DVD then start pushing buttons if one operates the function you want you have your answer. Most likely you won't find a button that serves that function.
These remotes aren't made to do EVERY function on hundreds of DVD players,and TV's. Its a Dishnetwork remote. Its main function is operate you receiver and Volume and Power on your TV. The fact it has additional feature for DVD players is a bonus.
