have a Dish 1000 now from the 622 install, I also bought a DP44 and the installer used it. I have a legacy Dish 500 that I want to convert to a wing dish for 61.5. I guess I need a dish pro twin for it or single, what about a bracket or something to change the focus ?

For less than $15 you can pick up a DP Single LNB for that dish. it will pop right on to one of the LNB holder.

You can drop a DP Dual (what many people call a single) or either side of the "Y" bracket and use that - just make sure you put the skew back to zero. You can also get an "I" bracket from dishstore.net to replace the "Y" if you want to improve the signal strength by couple of points.

Just head on over to Ebay to get the dual or get a new one from the dishstore along with the "I" bracket.

Dont you mean drop the skew to 90 degrees not zero??

It wouldn't make any difference since its circular polarized but I know what your saying. It would be hard to set it to zero!!!
