I am going out of town for a month. I have a Dish 500 with no LNB. A freind is giving me a dual LNB that came off of another Dish 500. I have a 510 reciever. What else do I need to make a temporary hookup. Do I need a DP 21 Switch. Thanks for any help. O course some RG6 cable.

Shouldn't need Switch, the Lnb should work(depending on what LNB it is) , try it first though... take a level and a Compass would be handy also...
Do you have a dual LNB or a Twin? If you have a dual you will be able to receive a signal from 110 or 119 not both. If you have a twin it will pick up both and has a switch built in.
