Rookie question....what do they mean by LNBF Rotation +34.4 degrees? Do they mean that I have to add 100 degrees so intact the rotation will be 134.4 degrees?

Thanks

What satellite system are you inquiring about? That question sounds like you are using a FTA rather than a DISH branded system.

DISH uses circular polarity so the TS is very likely asking in the wrong subforum.

+34 degrees skew wouldn't be extraordinary in the Corn Belt for a WA market.

In any case, one might need to add 90 degrees to something to make it come out right, not 100.

It’s a Dish 1000+ that I am trying to set up.

The following information is used to correctly align your satellite dish installed in ........... to receive signal from the EchoStar 14, Anik F3, DirecTV 7S (119.0 W) satellite.

Compass Reading: 244.1 deg.
Left / RightDish Elevation: 23.9 deg.
Up / DownLNBF Rotation: +34.4 deg.

Are you sure that is a DISH 1000+? It looks more like someone sold you a FTA dish as a DISH 1000+

Canadians do jones for their US TV.

The numbers are correct for a DISH 1000+.

It would be much easier to use dishpointer.com as it won't make you do the math.
