What happened to HDNews' "live coverage" of the SpaceShipOne flight?!?

I was really excited about watching the live HD coverage of the SpaceShipOne flight that HDNews had been advertising. CNN showed SpaceShipOne take-off, climb to over 50,000 feet, launch into space, and is now showing it line up with the runway, just about to land. HDNews is showing last weekend's football highlights...again:rolleyes: . What the hell happened Voom? I'm very disappointed. HDNews had coverage from the Mojave this morning, so they obviously they had a camera there, but the last thing they showed was a shot of the sunrise about two and a half hours ago (never even saw a shot of SSO).

*To add insult to injury here, as I've been writing this, CNN showed SSO land and HDNews just showed a commercial telling viewers to "tune in later today for live HD coverage of the SpaceShipOne launch". :no

We tuned in to HDNews at 7:00 AM (Pacific time) and they were already reporting the launch as history. I think the launch happened 30 minutes earlier than scheduled? I did see some footage on HDNews, but it was after it happened.

As you say, the next news loops had Scott Peterson and "autumn in New York" but nothing about the SpaceShipOne launch.

We caught a lot more about the launch on CNN and Headline News. Sadly, Fox News didn't even show anything about it -- or at least nothing I could find.

I saw their coverage...took off about 10 minutes ahead of sheduale, but as soon as aircraft was off the ground coverage was over!

Mt. St. Helens boiling for a couple of hours. Released a big plume of what turns out to be steam.
