What HDD in the 722?

Hey folks, does anyone know what make and model of hard disk is inside the 722 receiver? Bell (Canada) just released a new model receiver which is suspected to be the same as the Dish 722 (because it's black) but with only a 320 GB disk. I'm debating buying and installing the bigger disk as an experiment.

Lately dish hard drive size has been locked by software, no matter how big a drive you install it only uses what software tells it to use. 722 has a 500GB HD.

I assume the Bell unit is substantially cheaper than the 722, to make it worth the effort?

No, not cheaper unfortunately. Bell seems to hide Dish features they don't want in their software, rather than removing them. My thought (hope) was that perhaps it would recognize and format the 500 GB disk, if I installed the exact make and model that the Dish 722 uses. I realize it's a long shot.

List for 722 is not out, but there is a list for the 622.
