What is going on?

I am an RV full-timer. I am currently in a spot where it is hard to acquire satellite signal. This has happened before. So while here I figure I'll just use Dish Anywhere. I go into Dish Anywhere and pretty much none of my channels are there! When I do click on one it says not compatible with Wally, get a hopper!! WTH??
If I can't use Dish Anywhere or get satellite signal what's the use of having Dish? I guess it's adios Dish!! Cheaper to stream anyway.
Also, I have been a Dish customer for many years so that's a bummer.

You can't stream channels from a Wally through Dish Anywhere. However you can watch most of the national channels by changing the guide setting to streaming.

Yes, to get there you need to open the Dish Anywhere app, open the guide and change the display settings to streaming. From there select the channel you want to view.

I'm pretty new to Dish Anywhere, but as I understand it, to gain full functionality from Dish Anywhere, your Hopper must be connected. You can still view some channels, but much of the Hopper content will not be available to you.

Yes, Hopper must be connected. And plugged in.

I gather you are referring to no access to EHD content. Yep, that feature is long gone.

He says he has a Wally at home, I think that's what he said. Wallys do not have Sling capability and that is necessary for DishAnywhere to work.

Nope, not getting anything, actually got like 4 of my channels. I give up.
