What is the difference between the 625 and the 721, other than the color?
Also what is that big connector on the back of the 721 for, it seems to have more than 20 pins.

The 625 has a 2nd TV output, and the software to support that. It's much more like a 522 than a 721. Also, the 625 supports the new "Dish-on-Demand" service.

The big connector was suposed to be for more hard drives, but that never happened.

The 625 will run two tv's. The 721 will only work 1 tv. Basically a 625 in single mode can work like a 721. The 625 also has VOD and NBR. The 625 also has a better menu if you ask me.
