What is the ugliest passenger car ever?

There are a LOT of ugly cars. One that I don't think has been mentioned yet is the Plymouth Valiant.........this particular one is a 1962. It's not sure if it should be sleek or boxy, large or small........it's definitely a confused look! I think many Dodge and Chrysler cars from the 60s through the late 70s were pretty homely.
I'm sure I'll think of a few more.

Well I definitely have to say that the first generation Aztec was butt ugly and the gremlin was Rosemary's baby but the great injustice which was the 74 to 78 mustang ii was truely an ugly deformation of an American muscle car icon.
Don't forget Ford Pinto, Mavrick,Fairmont, Dodge Omni, Chrysler K models.

The AMC Matador ranks high on my list if for no other reason that it looked like a show car from 15-20 years earlier.

This has got to be one of the ugliest, considered a classic by some, but a deckchair on wheels is what i woukd call it.
The 2CV is a classic.

If you're going after the Citroen, you should first look at the Iso Isetta and see if it doesn't curdle your blood:

Yea we used to call them "bubble cars", i actually think they are better looking than the 2cv.
It's not a citroen thing my favorite car of all time was the citroen DS

I try not to confuse cars that were ugly in their time with a car that didn't age well.

The mid to late -70's were not a good time for cars. But confusing bad engineering with styling that reflected the '70s culture is a mistake.

I don't think the Mustang 2 was particularly ugly. It was a travesty as a car though. Personally, I think it looked better than the 78 model that replaced it. BTW, I owned Capris and Rabbits in this period.

In the '60s, we thought that everything from the late '50s with all the chrome and big fins was the ugliest stuff around, but now it is nostalgic and cute.
