What is with All American on Distants?

Man,

Just getting P.O'd. Sent in the RV Waiver form on 12/27. Called one time they said it might take up to 2 weeks. Have heard NOTHING from them since. I've left a message, as evidently there is NO good time to call. Said they'd call back within 48 hours. Still nothing.

Do they actually do this, or is the idea to just give you some place to fax stuff?

I faxed the rv waiver on December 19th. They said it may take a couple of weeks. I called them on December 29th and they had just approved them and turned them on. I was so happy. It was worth the wait. I called the customer service number as I didn't want to leave a message. I would rather talk to a live person. Hang in there.

Just to finish up. I called them a few more times, and finally got a lady on the phone. She found my application, said all was in order, and she would put it on her bosses desk for activation.
Late last night (1/15/07), they got turned on. Just in time for an outage on the West Coast feeds.
I wanted it for the East Coast, so I'm still happy.

I just downloaded the application. What do people put for the duration? If it's for the full year or longer? Just curious.
