Since I do not live in a area that uses the dish 1000 setup I have accumalated 100's of theses seperators that come in the dual receiver boxes. I have been stashing them in boxes in my garage but now they are over flowing. is the a market out there for them? if there is a market whats the average asking price per unit? wouldn't dish save some money if they only put these in the d1000 sat boxes instead of the receiver boxes? and speaking of saving money couldn't dish also cut costs by cutting back on all the cardboard and plastic wrap? I swear I have to burn a 1/2 acre of cardboard every week.:hungry:

DishStore gets $9.99 each. Give them a call. Maybe they will take them off your hands for about $5 each. Or trade a bunch for one of their new 411 receivers........

Wow...so you're telling me you don't use a separator/DP+ Twin combo on ANY install? It's a life saver not having to run another coax...or worse, run a line around the outside of the home because of exisiting, wall-fished lines.

that wouldnt work, we use them in the areas still using the Dish500, with DPP twins.

I believe the market for those would be the customers who bought the receivers. Were they given the option to hang on to their separator for possible future use?

Yeah, that's other thing sucks about Dishnetwork Installs. Switches are Expensive for everyone, even for Dealers!!!!!!!

I can't believe DP44 doesn't come standard with superdish on Superdsh markets or 1000 markets.

Ugh! Let's not start that debate again. LOL Previous thread mentioned a number of gripes and that was my numero uno. Too many retailers and RSPs have been burned by lack of refund with those DPP44's...even AFTER getting proper approval from DNS

Thanx guys I sold them all but 2 I saved for another user on here, I got 5.00 each plus 15.00 for shipping costs. thanx again. I sure wish i could use them here in superdish land. course running a dul cable is not all that harder than 1 cable.

Does Dish 1000 work in S Florida?

Does this look like misleading info...
