I don't think Scott ever intended to close the .us site. He bought all of the variations of satelliteguys so no matter what you typed you would get here.

Once Scott got Google squared away with the HTTP 301 redirect the .US domain was(is) here to stay .

Why does www.satelliteguys.com resolve to a different IPs (67.225.170.216) than www.satelliteguys.us (184.72.60.157). Also, when you got www.satelliteguys.com, it doesn't retain your credentials (requires you to again logon to the site).

Still, they both should resolve to the same IP (67.225.170.216). Odd, they're both resolving to the same IP now.
