Still doesn't answer my question. Most HD viewers (not all) don't care about HD locals and would rather see national channels like SCIFI or USA or ESPN in HD. It's going to be a long time before cable even comes close to DirecTV or dish.

Wrong Answer... Most people watch and want their locals in HD. The sampling of people on this board is skewed and not a true sampling of what most people want.

I would have to agree. Your average Joe wants to have the cable pugged in and all the locals be there and not have to hook up an external antenna to get the channels they want
