Where is Echostar X going... Now at 108?

I would suggest they try a "check switch," and if that doesn't work try unplugging it for a minute.

"Is your satellite on channel 3? I'm going to have to put you on hold. STIR THE CURRY BEFORE IT BURNS! "

I'm sorry for that. God be with the pygmies, Amen.

They only put enough fuel on board to fit the positioning rockets once. The idea was like playing pool E10 was supposed to hit D*'s satellite and bounce it off into space, while leaving E10 stationary right where the D* satellite used to be.

Unfortunately their aim was off and it missed the D* bird.

Now they have to rely on the backup plan. They have a small pecking bird magnet pendulum, powered by two AA batteries, which will eventually overcome the momentum of the drift and get it moving back toward 110.

It's a shame it requires AA batts. Dish seems to own stock in AAAs
