Which Motor?

I'm looking to possibly install a 1.2m GeoSat dish. Which motor will best drive a dish this size? Cannot find much on the 1.2m beast.

Shipping cost is a "killer" to all of us.
We're so happy to find something local , even if we have to "buy" it, to avoid the insult of shipping charges. I'm using a DG380 on both my 1.2M dish and 1.0M dishes successfully. I also have a STAB hh-120 in reserve. If you put the SG-9120 on a 1.2M dish, be sure to let us know how it works out for you.

Sadoun's DG-380 motor works well, too. This is what I have and have had no trouble with it. I really am pleased with it.

Thanks for confirming Mikey11, I kind of ran into this while researching...I ran across a photo of the GeoSat 1.2m dish that was motorized, but it was mounted with a motor that was in "shaft-up" orientation. I am nearly ready to order the DG380, which is a shaft down mount and am wondering if the GeoSat 1.2m will work on a shaft down motor.

Any thoughts??

I have a GEO SAT pro 1.2 M dish on a sg9120 motor, it works really good, the only issue I had with this motor was the dish elev. setting, the setting per the manual did not work, so I have to make it work and it does now.
before this motor I had the 380, it also work good with this dish, but it lasted about a year and half. there is a difference on the motor arm on this motors. the 380 is a 2 piece arm, the 9120 is one piece arm, i had other motors before, and they all eventually developed a play in the motor arm, even the 380 and of course it keeps losing signals.
these 2 motors eat steroids for breakfast, so either one will work with this dish.

There is another version of the SG-9120, the SG-9120b, that has a smaller diameter motor shaft for smaller dishes.
