Who's Using DVHS?

If so, what make/model, do you record HD and what DVHS titles do you own?

I have a JVC 30K with no way to record HD. I used to record a bunch of downrezzed HD via S-Video until I got my Panny HDD/DVD burner, now I use it for playback of DVHS tapes and "emergency" recordings when my Panny is busy.

DVHS titles:
U-571
True Lies
Independence Day
Snow Falling On Cedars
Rainier: The Mountain
Bikini Destinations: Fantasy
Bikini Destinations: On Location w/Hawaiian Tropic

Due to the cost and fragile nature of tape, I've quit buying any new titles and am waiting for HD-DVD.

I would have in conjunction with getting the 921, but we all know how that story ends... With the announcement of mpeg 4 the 169 runtime option is out also...

I assume you dont have a cable co that offers a STB with firewire out. I am loving archiving HD with my 30K and find the quality of the recordings close to prerecorded DVHS. I was lucky enough to have 300 SVHS tapes lying around and they work great! P.S- tape is a pretty reliable storage medium. I'll bet many people like me will not want to buy HD-DVDs when they come out.
