I'm in Buffalo, NY and Root Sports showed up in my Top 200 guide on Friday. Why? Pirates games are blacked out (even on replay), and of course no Penguins games.

So, anyone know what the point is of having this channel outside the Sports Pak if you are not in the Pittsburgh market?

Right now, my "hometown" RSNs in Buffalo are Sportstime Ohio and Root Sports Pittsburgh. It's stuff like this that leads me to find things like Ergen hoarding cash to buy Sprint an unbelievable concept to me.....

Huh?

Yeah, I don't get that. I thought BTN was based on entire states with B10 teams in them (PA in this case), not just part of the state.
