Does anybody provides closed-caption on HD channels except for ESPN and Network? I am waiting for the second languague DD5.1 alternative as well.

Yeah, but to list them would've made for an awfully wordy thread title.:D (and this is only the voom programming forum)

Seriously, though -- does anyone know what's up with the lack of CC on HD channels? Obviously it can be done -- ESPN and HDNet prove that -- so why isn't it being done?

(And I assume everyone knows the thread title is tongue-in-cheek. Right?....... Right?)

By the way, I noticed that almost all HD DVD discs have SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing). That's in addition to standard subtitles in three languages. ;)

Movies have closed caption on VHS, I think HBO HD movies did also. It is a very important service for many of us and not on VOOM or HDNET Movies.
