I know it has loads of spotbeams, and is nice and new and all, but it is sooo hard to get LOS....

I am getting a whopping 30 to 35 on a clear day - I hate to see what it will be today in the rain, and later when the leaves all come in....

Sorry - I guess I need to update my profile.

Charlottesville, VA - 22902.

129 is at 22.1 elevation, and 252.6 azimuth. That 22.1 is a killer....

LOS = Line Of Sight

The elevation angle of 129 is so low on the east coast, if there are any trees or tall buildings in the area, and mountains (hills to the westerners) where I am, line of sight is really hard to come by.

Last year I cut some trees, had one trimmed (there went $650), but still lost 129 in the Spring. We moved (a few thousand $ more), and I foolishly thought my LOS problems were over. The CSRs and installers also told me Eastern Arc would be the answer to my problems, but I do not know of any real plans to move our locals to 61.5.
