Why the new forum?

Didn't most of the people vote not to have such a forum? This will ruin your site with all of the dumb topics/questions that will be asked.

I don't mind it at all. If people don't like the new forum, they don't have to go on it. If they see a topic they don't like or want to respond to, they don't have to respond to it.

Yes, at least it takes one more click to see if you don't want to see it. Now everybody gets a little something they want.
