wierd problem with uhf remote

this only happens when i got the uhf antenna hooked to my 508 sometimes at night 2-4 am the channels change by thierselves and its like someone else is controlling it.....i do have a friend who has a 510 that lives 2 houses down could it be that my friends remote or something else uhf is interfering with my reciever and causing it to do this? is this a software glitch? it only happens when the uhf anntenna is connected when i just use it as an ir remote its fine

Yes, your friend or someone close by is probably causing this problem. To keep this from happening change the address for your remote. The instructions on how to do this are in the manual.
