Have a dish vip 211 . I get my internet from my neighbors wifi how can I connect my dish box to the wifi connection

IIRC,the 211 is not wifi compatible, the optional Dish wireless adapter will not work with it.

You can get a wireless repeater, like the Netgear N300. It will pick up the wireless signal, and it has an Ethernet port that you can run to a switch or run directly to the 211. Not really any of my business, but does your neighbour know that you are "sharing" his WiFi? He might not appreciate the reduction in his usable bandwidth if you are a heavy user. On the other hand, he should have it secured if he is that worried.
