I am getting a new 522 tomorrow, will my old DVR 508 remotes work on the new 522?

Thanks
Jason

Thanks for the fast reply. I want to run my new 522 in 3 room, and I have 2 DVR508 remotes. Is there any way to get them to work so I can use them UHF to control my 522?

If they aren't UHF, you can't 'add' UHF to the remotes. If it just says IR on the back of the remote, then no. You'd be better off buying another UHF remote rather than trying to find an alternative to get those working.

The 508 remotes ARE UHF. the older ones though usea different frequency. the newer ones do both but require placement of a physical key to tell the unit what frequency to use.
