Will I need to pull more cable to upgrade from SD to HD?

Yeah I agree.. the best solution to leave things as is, would be to get what I suggested...pull the ethernet cable which is very cheap now and don't worry about it. Hardware does what hardware is designed to do and nothing more. Last time I checked a laptop couldn't get up and get me a beer yet... damn them!!

Yep. Like I said before, the OP did not do due diligence, and now wants to redirect the blame. Let him finally figure out reality.
 
I am running two HDTVs with RG6 cables. On a small HDTV 22" and 32", the picture is not bad. MY main tv is a 60inch Samsung and needs HD input. Hook up a small HDTV and see for yourself. I am not saying it is HD. But on a smaller display, the picture is acceptable to me for occasional viewing.
