Will this work? 1000.2 with 500+

Hello Everyone,

I am wondering if this will work:

I have a 1000.2 dish with a wing dish for 148.
The international channels stopped coming in today.
So I need to upgrade dishes.

I was thinking of doing this to save a little bit of money.

install the 500+ and just use the 118.7 output and connect it to the input on the 1000.2.
