I have a dish 500 system and a wing dish pointing at 61.5. My receivers are a 510 and 211. The lines from the dishes run into a dpp44. I have the 61.5 connected to input 1 on the dpp44 and input 2 and 3 have 110 and 119 running into it. The problem I am having is, about a week ago I lost the signal on the 61.5 dish. When I run check switch, input 1 says Satellite: Conn, Polarity: X, Device: Quad. When I go to the details screen it says that port 1 is connected but no signal. I have tried different LNB's. I have tried hooking the 61.5 up to a different port on the dpp44. But nothing seems to work. I am wondering what would cause this and how can I fix it?

like garys said you need two cables from you D500 into port 1 and 2 with your wing sat on port 3. Also the dpp44 switch likes the copper rod to be long & clean. I used a little knife to clean to copper ends. Make sure you unplug your power supply to your switch when making all the connections. Plug the power back in and then try another switch test.

No the dish did not get moved. Matter of fact I have tried to realign the dish and it is like the dish is not there. It will not show any signal strength. I will try to unplug the switch and make the connections. Thanks.

Have you connected the 61.5 dish directly to 1 of the receivers bypassing the switch? This would be the only way to be sure it is still aimed correctly and a signal is getting to the switch.

Okay, I unplugged the switch and put the inputs in the order that you guys recommend. I still get exactly the same result. Still shows connected to the sat. put an X for polarity and satellite just says conn. Any additional help is appreciated.

Yes the order changed on the screen. I am going to try to connect a receiver directly to the dish and see what happens. If it works I will then start to check the cable.
