D* locals lookup show WMYD 20 in HD. Can anyone verify that this is available. With the pistons coming, and no plans for E* to offer FSN Detroit HD, I am once again considering switching.

thanks. that along with fsn hd, which is not in E* first 15, is enough for me to switch to D*.

I have the H20 receiver and get Channel 20 in HD via my OTA antenna feed into the back of the H20. Its Channel 20-1. Right now only CBS (ch. 62) NBC (ch. 4) ABC (ch. 7) and Fox (ch. 2) and FSN Detroit HD (via Channel 96) come through in HD via the dish (AT9/5LNB) and with the H20 or HR20. PBS (ch. 56), MY20/CW (ch. 20) HD feeds come in via antenna.

can you double check, maybe without your antenna? two other people told me it is up, and I just ordered the install.

can't get ota = too far away, tried three antennas. If they have this along with the FSN Detroit HD that is worth the switch. It looks like E* is not doing FSND in their first round so we would be looking at March 07 for a HD RSN.

Channel 20

Yes channel 20 is up now. I have 3 channel 20's on the guide for my h20, and only 2 on my h10-250, so I have to assume that it is in MPEG4.

One of my channel 20's on both receivers is my OTA from my antenna. So D* must have signed a contract with WMYD. On my h20 they are DT20, WMYD and WMYDDT. The last one is 20-1 or my OTA channel.

Hope that helps you!!!

Thanks for the confirmation everyone, that is GREAT NEWS that D* is going to go after MY or CW, especially the ones that show HD sports. Probably good news for the future of other markets too.

Fox/Sunday Ticket broadcast annoying sound effects

Is the HR20 the same as the HR20-700?
