It is technically possible but highly unlikely.

Odds are better that the 360 will fry itself before it fries your TV.

Thanks for replies. T.V. is less than 2 yr. old and worked fine. Grandson used xbox last Sat. and Sun. Tried last night and t.v. would not come on. Just wanted to be sure before hooking it up to another t.v. Thanks
