Actually that should be twists, plural.
Xiaomi Phone review -- Engadget

Coming from the creators of the MIUI ROM - an iOS clone built on Android - it is quite different from the competition:
- runs on a 1.5GHZ dual-core Qualcomm CPU (not overclocked 1.2GHz chip);
- has two GPS systems built-in (including the Russian GLONASS);
- has a transflective LCD screen (usable in bright sun);
- dual-partition file system;
- beats Galaxy S II in some tests;
- costs $310, no contract.

Distributed in China only but covers AT&T 3G frequencies.

Just imagine MeeGo running on it...:)

Not bad for a unknown name...

I was asked to flash a MIUI ROM (from the same people as the Xiaomi phone) on a Nook Color.

It's come a long way since I saw it last time!
No stability issues with the last build and snappier than CM 7.1 it was running before.
And the transparent overlay navigation buttons make the Applesque interface almost bearable...

Very impressed!
