I had my doubts after hearing about all the locals in HD coming today since they almost never light up locals and nationals on the same day. I guess they care more about locals than nationals. They must think they can gain more subscribers by adding HD locals than they lose by not adding more nationals.

I guess Charlie made a bunch of April Fools out of all of us for believing his announcement about new hd on 4/01/09. So now we are back to hearing that the new hd channels will be coming SOON! SOON means never in DISH lingo.

Just got a message on Twitter that says they'll update us as soon as they know.

But it seems that almost everyone is in agreement that they are coming.

These things take time. When you are set to activate new stuff it never goes as planned. Give them some time to iron out the kinks.

We'll have our new HD.

FINALLY have HD Locals in Columbus, OH

Most of them at least....ABC, FOX, NBC, CW....no CBS yet. But I'm not complaining...don't think I watch anything on CBS anyway!
