I hate the Intro, they say something like, Last week the Dome appeared ..... well that happened a year and a half ago.
Theres No way they can make you think that each episode is 1 week.

At the beginning of the season the intro said "two weeks ago". Now it says "A Few Weeks ago." Each episode is about 1 day.

Yeah it seems to be about 1 day per episode, but of course the actors are having issues. Joe looks to have grown a couple inches in the last 2 weeks and Junior has put on about 20 pounds... The other kids are not seen much but have aged some.

As much as was changed in season 1 from the books, season 2 has been unrecognizable.

Season 1 pretty much had Big Jim and Jr. close to what they were in the books, plus the show focused how the town gravitated to a Big Jim Dictatorship, and how different people changed during the crises (basically the plot of the book).

Season 2 has pretty much morphed into dome crisis of the week show, with Jr. becoming a good guy, and Jim being a troubled, but okay guy. Even the murders Jim did have been forgotten.

Except in the Book, Jr. killed Angie in the first few chapters, so he's not all good either.

Also, people forgot that Jr also killed a guy earlier, don't remember if that was last year or this, I think it was last though.

Big Jim has murdered many people, as you said the town seems to have forgotten.

The funniest thing was tonight in the episode was when Barbie said that all this happened in the last TWO WEEKS and how they had all got through it together. TWO WEEKS !!!! That 's a lot of crap to happen in just two weeks. I was really hoping that they would get through the hole into the real world and then the dome would crush BIG Jim to death! Of course they could be walking out of the dome right into the frying pan like in the Twilight Episode : To Serve Man. It's a cookbook!!!! Don't get on that ship!!!!!!!!!

Remains to be seen. I figure if it does , it will show up next June. IF not and they canceled it due to low ratings, then you got your ending last night.

If there is a season 3 I wonder how they will deal with Big Jim. Hate to see him killed off after his spree even if he deserves it. I'd rather see whiney Norrie take a dirt nap.

He could still make it to the tunnels ...

I want to see where this opening leads them too ... also, see if they go back to get Julia.

I'm guessing the Home Melanie is referring to is the back to the dome.

I'll keep watching Rachelle Lefevre but I don't really care beyond that.
