    xboxmod is the one releasing the TF3D updates. NRG gets his updates from him directly before they go public, then releases his ROM with the changes as soon as xboxmod goes public. So many people have asked him to do a CDMA version that he's considering it, from what I've read in the thread.

    They've come a long way in the past couple of weeks. I've switch over to NGRz ROMs, with the latest Rhodium updates (4/5/09). I'd consider it complete now, for all purposes, in the hands of a good ROM chef. My battery life is similar to yours. Mines been off the charger since 5AM this morning...

    forum.xda-developers.com is also very good, particularly for HTC phones. PPCgeeks.com mostly just rips off of their work. ( I kid! :)) Between the two sites, PPCGeeks.com is more oriented toward the CDMA phones, but does have some support for GSM. XDA developers is the opposite... mostly...

    Well, all the smartphones are... but if you pop your sim in an old cheapy phone when you sign up, they'll never know. I've had the standard non-smartphone cheap data plan for several years... on 5 different non-qualifying smartphones. 4 out of the 5 phones on my family data plan technically...

    They do. It's $10 a month for every phone in the family, we've got it on 5 lines. So I pay $50 a month for unlimited data on 5 phones. Too bad iPhones are excluded.

    There's full price and then there's FULL price... lol. 16 GB iPhone New Customer/2 year upgrade price: $299 Early Upgrade price: $499 No Contract Price:$699 That's one thing I'll say for AT&T... you get the same discount on your 2 year upgrade as new customers get.

    I don't see the problem. I've been an AT&T/cingular customer for years. If I walked into the AT&T store today and asked to buy an iPhone, that's exactly what it would cost me, $499 for a 16GB model. If I was buying an iPhone as my every 2 year upgrade, it would be about $200 less than that...

    One thing that AT&T did to the TouchPro, which I have really come to appreciate, is modify the top row on the keyboard with frequently used punctuation and symbols. The numbers are laid out dialpad style, instead.

    Yes, always hard reset after installing a new ROM. It will save you tons of trouble down the line.
