Can you upgrade the drive in a 625?

Chances are this is just due to high compression. Dish also uses different compression equipment than D*. I have both providers and D* has a sharper/grainier picture while E* has a softer picture.

How much additional noise does the chill pad create? I am in a similar situation. I generally leave the glass door cracked and haven't had any problems but I like the idea of the chill pad.
